Dr. Natalie L. Winters, Ed.D., C.Hy, TEP, DAPA, is a licensed psychologist, certified psychodramatist, certified hypnotherapist, lecturer and Diplomate of the American Psychotherapy Association. She is the recipient of the American Society for Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP) 2003 Innovators Award and the 2007 Professional Service Award.   In 2003 she was nominated for the Humanitarian Award given by the Tampa Bay Research Institute and in 2004 was the recipient of a Women-in-Tune award.

Dr. Winters received her doctorate from Rutgers University. She was in private practice in NJ for 12 years before moving to Florida.  She is a former adjunct professor for Nova Southeastern University, Florida, where she taught in the graduate department of psychology for eight years. 

She was creator and host of her own cable television program in NJ, “Psychology In Action,” and has appeared on radio and television talk shows in NJ and Florida. Dr. Winters has presented over 100 workshops nationally and internationally. 

She now resides and runs a private practice  in Cary, NC.

INSURANCE:
My practice is designed to minimize overhead, allowing me to keep the cost of services lower.  I handle all scheduling and inquiries.  Payment by cash or check is accepted at time of service.

There are a number of advantages to paying directly without using  insurance: your confidentiality is protected, no one else may have access to your records.  When insurance is used, the company has the right to make decisions about your treatment, what they will pay for and how long you may atttend therapy rather than leaving these decisions to you. If you wish to use insurance benefits, I will provide you the forms to file. I do not file the forms.  If you would like to file insurance, please contact your insurance commpany before scheduling an appointment to find out what they would reimburse for my services.
